Wisconsin politics is an equal opportunity nepotistic employer
Fourteen years it took the Republicans to “get even” politically speaking with former Assembly Speaker Tom Loftus, now they must bear the burden of State Democratic Party mall cop Alec Loftus.
Loftus is the son of Tom Loftus, a longtime Democratic state legislator and Assembly speaker who was appointed ambassador to Norway by President Bill Clinton in 1993.
Alec’s catch phrase is that “5-year-olds could have voted” in a recent survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, on Sens. Russ Feingold, Herb Kohl, Gov. Jim Doyle and Rep. Paul Ryan.
Alec, who once answered phones for WisChuckleheads.com (the czars of unscientific straw vote polling), however, had not seen the results of the Feingold poll, referring questions instead to the Feingold campaign.
Recall that Alec was inarticulately unhappy with presidential nominee and honorable politician John McCain’s campaign.
Thirty-six-holes-of-golf-a-day Joe Wineke can get away with smart-alecky quotes, but immature (and a snitch) Alec by Hasbro, can't.
But not only is Loftus DPW's communications director, he is childish and acts like a contestant on a game show, just happy to be there, taking his simple-message job with the Democrats for granted like it's always in the bag.
Speaking of Joe Wineke, who’s paying his green fees and beverage cart tab now that he is no longer on labor and DPW payrolls?
