Saturday night’s House-approved health care legislation now goes to the Senate.

Stranger than fiction

Tix $300 apiece

Condoleezza Rice, former stooge in the George W. Bush administration, that did nothing for health care in eight years, is, unbelievably, guest speaker Tuesday night at the 2009 Healthcare Dinner, sponsored by the Medical College of Wisconsin, at The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee.

Apparently, the likes of Karl Rove and Scooter Libby were unavailable to speak on health care reform and the public health insurance option.

Ted Kellner, chair and CEO of Fiduciary Management Inc., Milwaukee, is also on the dais.

Kellner is also a benefactor of the UW-Madison.
